We have an update to the location of the seeding party. It’s now at the XL Nightclub. Owners John Blair and Beto Sutter have put the finishing touches on a 14,000-square-foot club that is able to hold up to 650 people on the dance floor.
Saturday April 14, 2012 7PM – 10PM @ XL Nightclub, 512 West 42nd Street New York, NY 10036, between 10th & 11th Avenue
We are still in need of volunteers at Queens College for Saturday afternoon. We could also use 1-2 people for the Sunday afternoon shift, but right now we badly need 3-4 people for Saturday afternoon to assist with player registration and court monitoring.
Volunteering is a good time. Come help out, chat with other volunteers, members and volleyball players. Send an email to Hughey@gothamvolleyball.org with the word “VOLUNTEER” in the subject line of the message, and include if you need transportation to/from Queens College.
The timing of the 2 shifts is:
Saturday, 4/14, Queen’s College afternoon session: 11:30am -5:30pm, player registration, court monitoring
Sunday, 4/15, Queen’s College afternoon session: 1:00pm -8:00pm, court monitoring

Please review team responsibilities. Teams without a NAGVA certified up-official or scorekeeper will be required to pay $25 per match per position.
If a team cannot provide a 1st referee or scorekeeper and does not pay the required fee, they WILL NOT play at the tournament and will not receive a refund.
The Big Apple is looking for you! Volunteers are needed to help with preparation, registration, and day-of duties for Gotham’s-sponsored NAGVA tournament. We will do our best to help with transportation out to Queens College on the weekend. Volunteering can get you into the Saturday night party (open bar, food, great show – just like a Gotham party).

Team fee is $500 for up to 7 players if made on or before February 15, 2012, $525 if made after March 15, 2012, and $550 if made after March 31, 2012. Add $72 for each additional player.
