When: November 9-10, 2019
Divisions: Masters – B, BB

Space is available for 14 teams. Individual divisions may be capped based on entries received. A division MUST have 4 registered and paid teams by October 1, 2019, otherwise the division will be canceled at that time.  Get your registration and fees in early!

Team fee is $475 for up to 7 players. Add $65 for each additional player.

Facility: All matches will be held at Elias Howe (“Howe”). The gym is located on the 3rd Floor of 525 W 44th St, between 10th and 11th Avenues in Manhattan.

Rules: The Golden Apple Tournament will follow the rules of play as described in the NAGVA Rules and Regulations.

Officiating: NAGVA Rules and Regulations states in Section 6 that teams must provide a certified 1st referee and a certified scorekeeper for all matches. This rule will be enforced at the Golden Apple. Further, the rules state that if a team cannot provide a certified 1st referee or certified scorekeeper, they must pay the cost of obtaining one from the tournament committee.

The Officiating and Scorekeeping Clinics are now online. Please go to the NAGVA Scorekeeper & Referee Exams for more information.

Teams without a NAGVA certified up-official or scorekeeper will be required to pay $30 per match per position.

If a team cannot provide a 1st referee or scorekeeper and does not pay the required fee, they WILL NOT play at the tournament and will not receive a refund.

Refunds: Full refunds will be granted if requested prior to October 22, 2019
